Rich and Mary-Jo took Jessica and Brianna down to Cuba to see first hand what The Bridge has been up to. The Bridge is a ministry Rich and Mary-Jo have started to support the Christian Churches in Cuba. They have partnered with about 12 churches and it keeps growing. They help provide some of the essentials so the Cuban pastors can focus on the ministry, not have to worry about whether or not their family will eat. Here are a few pictures (and they don’t do justice) of the amount of swag they hauled down. Two large suitcases each. Jocelyn got in on the action helping Mary-Jo get packed up.
So I have been holding down the fort, and doing a pretty good job of it I must say. Let’s just say I have a new appreciation for my wife, for mom’s in general. Brianna didn’t leave me unprepared, she made sure I was fully prepared for the week. Here’s her secret recipe for pancakes, all I had to do was mix. Pretty sad, but I can’t even make pancakes without detailed instructions unless it’s the kind you just add water.
It has been awesome hanging with my girls, but I can’t wait to have Brianna back!
