Brianna and I are fortunate to be connected to some incredible people in this world. We are blessed by the relationship we have with brothers and sisters in Christ in Cuba. They are truly amazing people because of their faith and hope in Jesus in the midst of enormous trials. They claim this Prayer collectively as a group of believers.
From the West to the East of the Island we raise our voice in joy concerning Your majesty. You are the Creator of the beauty of the earth and the beauty in the hearts of Your people. You alone are our hope, hour by hour and from this moment through eternity. We are weak but You have mercy on us and your hand strengthens us. You protect us from the evil one and the thumb he uses to crush us. We glorify Your name even in the midst of those who deny you and we sing “glory to the Righteous One” with up-lifted hands.
We have seen no righteous one except You.
Only You have kept your word,
Only You hear our cries,
Only You heal our diseases,
Only You increase our rice,
Only You stay the tears of our children,
Only You protect us from the pounding storm,
Only You bring justice,
Only Your remember us,
Only You have brought life and joy out of the ash heap of our lives.
You are the Righteous King who rules in our hearts and Your Son, Jesus, is our Savior!
Be encouraged wherever you are. Be thankful this Christmas, and remember the One who give use the hope we have, Jesus.
